CAMPS

The Children's Theater Company holds Winter, Spring and Summer Camps. These camps offer an opportunity for students to spend a whole week discovering theatre. Students will enjoy morning and afternoon blocks of drama games and activities, plus a supervised lunch break. Pack a lunch and snacks and get ready for a week of fun and collaborative theatre explorations.

All levels welcome! No previous experience required.

Before- and after-camp supervision is also available:

Mornings: 8:30-9am – $80/week
Afternoons: 4-5:30pm – $80week

FINANCIAL AIDE & SCHOLARSHIP

Carousel Theatre for Young People is committed to making theatre as readily accessible to as many children and youth in our community as possible. For more information about our Bursary program and how to apply, click here. You can make a contribution to our Bursary fund when you register for drama school classes or at any other time, and we will provide a tax receipt.

CAMP FAQS & POLICIES

Summer Camps—Enrollment
Payment for summer camp sessions must be received in full by June 1, as space is limited. Enrollment is available online. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express check and cash.

Summer Camps—Refund Policy
A $50 non-refundable deposit is included in camp tuitions. 

Classes, Mini-Camps & Spring Break Camp
No refunds will be issued unless the class/camp is cancelled.

Scholarships
To ensure the participation of all interested students, The Children's Theatre Company offers a limited number of full and partial scholarships for all of our classes and camps. 

Late Pick-up
Parents will be assessed a $10.00 charge if a child is picked up 15 minutes after the program ends and an additional $1.00 per minute thereafter. Please arrive on time to pick up your student.

Photo/Video Release
The Children's Theatre Company reserves the right to use photos or video recordings taken during the course or a program or class for promotional purposes only. Such photos or videos may be used in print or online marketing materials.

Waiver of Liability/Hold Harmless Agreement
The Children's Theatre Company is committed to conducting all programs in a safe manner and strives to reduce risk to all of our participants. However, in choosing to participate in a program, students and parents must recognize that there is an inherent risk of injury. All families registering for a class, camp, or other programs agree to hold The Children's Theatre Company harmless in case of accident or injury.

In the event that a parent or emergency contact cannot be reached, parents further authorize The Children's Theatre Company employees to administer first aid treatment and/or authorize medical treatment in accordance with the information provided on student emergency forms.

Child Protection Policy
All full-time and part-time employees and all independent contractors of The Children's Theatre Company who interact with children (minors under the age of 18) are required to submit to a nationwide background investigation. The screening process is designed to maintain the high quality of our employees/contractors and eliminate potential employees/contractors who do not meet our standards. The primary purpose of the screening process is to promote safety for the students who participate in The Children's Theatre Company's productions and education programs.

Code of Conduct Policy
In order to provide students with a safe and supportive environment, The Children's Theatre Company does not tolerate any form of physical or verbal abuse, or vandalism. Any behaviors found in violation of this policy will be addressed and the student may be asked to leave camp, and no refunds will be issued.
